Writing a guest column

Artigenda: de mogelijkheid om jouw mening te delen!

If you have a unique view of the world or want to share something with the rest of the world, think Artigenda. Artigenda offers you the opportunity to share your views! Take a look at the opportunities below:
No website or blog of your own
Have you always wanted your voice to be heard on topics close to your heart, but didn't want to set up a complete website or blog yourself to do so? No problem! Artigenda givesje de ruimte om je stem te laten horen.
Do you already have your website or blog
Do you already have a sound or voice and would like to share it via Artigenda too, but in slightly different terms? Then this is no problem either!
Find out what it's like
That's right. Artigenda offers you the chance to find out if it's something you want to do in the future. You might want to try something new. So check out whether it's what's for you. Artigenda is happy to check it out with you!
These were just a few examples of why you should write a guest column for Artigenda. You are cordially invited to contribute to the diverse and dynamic website. You will be able to share your ideas and insights with a wide audience, which calls for originality. Which may be socially critical. It may consist of information that may not be readily published by others. Incidentally, this makes Artigenda no place for radicalism or conspiracy theories.

Why Artigenda?

You may not yet be sufficiently convinced. If so, the following will probably help you along. This gives attention to why you should write for Artigenda.

1. Reach a broad audience
Artigenda targets a broad audience. Through articles and mentions of special days. The column you write is read by people you might not otherwise reach.
2. Creative freedom
some guidelines apply for publication. Not everything will be posted on the website. The content of a column should match the content of the website. Still, the idea is that you should mainly make use of that creative freedom. So take your pick: a humorous column, an analysis or...
3. Portfolio and growth
What you write belongs to you. You own the rights and permit Artigenda to publish the column. If you withdraw this permission, the right to publish the column expires. So you can simply use the column for your portfolio. In short, Artigenda likes to contribute to your personal growth. Wherever possible.

What topics?

It is up to you to decide the topic. That is, the topic must be in line with the content of the website. If you want to warn us about “demographics,” then you may offer this column to another website. If you want to warn us about parties warning about “demographics,” then feel free to explain. So why do you want to warn us about parties that warn us about that? The same goes for topics related to the LGBTQIA+ community, for example.

If you want to explain how dangerous it all is, the question is what exactly you are going to explain. If you explain that there is a danger that certain measures taken by the government will lead to discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community, for example, then you get the space to do so. If you then want to explain how dangerous the LGBTQIA+ community would be, then you may offer that column elsewhere.

One-sided view?

Does that risk a one-sided view? No, there is simply no room for columns that focus on hate. There is also no room for columns that focus on conspiracy theories.
